About The SunnySide

The first issue of The SunnySide Coffee Break was published in September 2005.  Since then it has grown from eight pages to twelve pages. With an original distribution of 1000 copies per month it has now reached 4000 copies per month.  There are many more plans in the works for growth and expansion with new and innovative ideas to keep this the well loved publication that it has become.

The SunnySide is distributed throughout Powell River. Readers can pick up their copy at most restaurants, coffee shops, stores, waiting rooms, the recreation complex, hospital and the library. 

Thousands of people read The SunnySide every month.  Have a look around when you are out and you’ll be sure to see people picking up a copy and sitting down to enjoy it with a cup of coffee.
