Powell River Tourist Information Boards

At the start of the 2008 summer season we launched the first annual  “Powell River Tourist Information Board”.  Our goal is to help promote Powell River as the exciting destination that it is through the creation of the (PRTIB).  Tourists and newcomers to Powell River will be able to get the information they need in order to have access to all that our city encompasses from local shops to the great outdoor beauty that is so abundant.

Located on both ferries and a number of places around town the boards provide an opportunity for visitors and newcomers to get a one-stop preview of how much the Upper Sunshine Coast has to offer in the way of services, events, and recreational opportunities.

In addition to featuring local businesses, the large, full color boards provide a short history of Powell River and information on outdoor activities. An added bonus for both visitors and new residents is the custom drawn maps and a list of special community events provided by Powell River Direct.com.

Little Business Adventures is confident that the Powell River Tourist Information Boards will not only be helpful to visitors, but will prove to be an effective marketing tool for the area.
